STAR 160 OUTLAW 16' RAFT PACKAGE
New 16' Star Outlaw 160 Raft, huge 23" diameter tubes, 46" inside width, high pressure drop stitch floor, two removable thwarts, 5 year warranty. This boat is 3 months old and only been used on a 18-day Grand Canyon trip in October. This boat retails for $3200 from NRS. I'll sell the raft alone for $2800.
Frame is a custom DRL River Gypsies fully welded aluminum powder coated frame utilizing 8" NRS oar towers ($1300) with adjustable slider seat bracket w/ low back seat ($250). Accessories include two 38" x 13" x 15" tall DRL aluminum latch-in dry boxes ($1000), two Canyon Outfitter 125 quart Outfitter coolers ($920), Whitewater Designs XL rear mesh cargo gear bag ($395), pair of 10'6" Sawyer Polecat oars w/ Duramax blades ($670), and a pair of Sawyer standard oar locks ($100). All these items are new and only been used on a 18-day Grand Canyon trip.
This boat package was purpose built for our Grand Canyon trip and was designed to be a massive gear hauling machine! Providing 250 quarts of cooler space between the two coolers and plenty of dry box storage with a pair of DRL latch-in dry boxes. There's room for two 5 gallon water jugs under the rower's seat and a huge cargo space in the stern that's all easily secured with the giant rear mesh cargo gear bag. Along with a pair of 10'6" Sawyer Polecat oars and oar locks to get you down the river. I loved everything about this boat package and wouldn't change a thing if I was doing another Grand Canyon or big expedition trip anytime soon. The reality is my schedule doesn't allow for long expedition trips at this point.
I'll sell the raft, frame, pair of latch-in dry boxes, pair of Canyon 125 Outfitter coolers, sliding rower's seat, pair of 10'6" oars, oar lock and straps to secure it all together for $6500 as a package.
